Green Berry Hill was born about 1802 in Kentucky and a son of to Isaac Hill Mildred Hines Green Hill married Perlina Evans on August 7, 1826, in Barren, Kentucky, by Robert Leeper. He died about 1865 and burial details are unknown. He moved with the rest of the Hill clan to Moniteau, Missouri, where he purchased land in Section 11 of Township 45-N, 16 W, on January 10, 1840. He and his wife were living here with 9 children in 1850. They still lived here in 1860, along with a Susan Hill and her child, G.J. He died in 1865 and burial details are unknown, He may be buried in his brother's cemetery: Sandy Hill Family Cemetery but no tombstone. There are several unmarked graves in this cemetery and most are family members. [1]

In the sum of $10,000 to be paid at the close of Mildred Hill's life or widowhood, who is heir of Isaac Hill, deceased, by his last will and testament. Slaves or Green Berry Hill County: Moniteau State: Missouri Lucresie was an aunt of Newton Jones and was given by Isaac Hill to his son, Green Hill, as was Rubin. They were from Isaac's Hill's family of slaves brought to Missouri from Kentucky when the Hill Family moved to Missouri.
