Research Notes

Although there is no baptism for William Hill at Micheldever, it seems highly likely that he is the son of Isaac Hill, either through his wife Mary UNKNOWN, or a previous relationship/marriage. This is deduced from the fact

  1. Autosomal DNA match to descendent of Isaac Hill of Micheldever.
  2. William names his children with the same names as many of Isaac's children
  3. Isaac's father was named William and it is likely he would name his first son after his father William.

If Isaac is not William's father, then he would probably be an uncle (William being a possible illegitimate child of a sister of Isaac)
