On October 18, 1899 by Presbyterian Lisence in Maitland, Hants County, Nova Scotia, Esther Ellen Hill at 18 years of age married Joseph Nelson Morrison. Joseph was 24 and born in Three Rivers, Quebec.

Joseph Nelson Morrison, born 1875 in Three Rivers, Quebec (son of Mark Morrison and Maggie). He married Esther Ellen Hill, Oct 18 1899 in Maitland, Hants Co., born 1881 in Morris Brook, Kings Co. (daughter of Nelson Hill and Margaret Jane Thompson).

What became of Joseph is not known, he likely died before 1909. Esther married on Sep 20 1909 at Windsor, NS, Harry Hingley, born 1883 at Kemptown, Col. Co. (son of Edward Hingley). They immigrated to Augusta, Maine in 1910 and were still living there in 1920.
