Biography

When Sylvanus Edward Hinds was born in 1771, in Guilford, North Carolina, United States, his father, John Henry Hinds, was 26 and his mother, Abigail Seaton, was 26. He married Mary Sharkey on 4 February 1803, in Roane, Tennessee, United States. They were the parents of at least 2 sons and 3 daughters. He lived in Roane, Tennessee, United States for about 10 years. He died in 1845, in Bradley, Tennessee, United States, at the age of 74.
