Biography

Edwin was born about 1765 in Virginia and a son of John Hines and Ann Scarborough. Brother of Lydia (Hines) Scarborough, Patsey (Hines) Kitchen, Mildred (Hines) Hill, Edmund Hines, Temperance (Hines) Browning, Peggy (Hines) Birdsong and Nancy (Hines) James. Edwin owned two sections of 200 acres each in Logan County, Kentucky and one 200 acres section in Muhlenburg County, Kentucky for a total of 600 acres. He passed away in 1835 in St. Charles County, Missouri and burial details are unknown. [1]
