Biography
When Lydia Hinkle was born on March 21, 1816, in Madison, Ohio, her father, Joseph, was 28, and her mother, Elizabeth, was 24. She married Samuel M Vannatta on September 11, 1836. They had five children in 10 years. She died on August 23, 1906, in Bloomington, Illinois, at the impressive age of 90, and was buried there.
