Biography
Samuel Hinkley was born on 19 Jan 1789 in Madrid, Franklin, Maine, United States, son of Miller Hinkley (1765 - 1828) and Rachael (Whitney) Hinckley (1761 - 1850).
Samuel married Abigail Dunham (1794 - 1878) on 22 Apr 1811 in Avon, Franklin. Their son was George Russell Hinkley (1833 - 1911).
Samuel died on 15 Oct 1839 in Madrid aged 50. He is buried in Dunham Cemetery, Madrid.
