Sarah Hinson was born in 1833 and christened on 21 Apr 1833 at Rowington, Warwickshire, England. She was the daughter of George Hinson and Hannah Williams.[1]
In the 1841 census, Sarah was age 8 living at Mouseley End, Rowington, Warwickshire with her father George Hinson (30), mother Hannah Hinson (25), brothers John Hinson (6), George Hinson (4), sisters Hannah Hinson (2), Eliza Hinson (0).[2]
In the 1851 census, Sarah was age 18 living at Hampton In Arden, Warwickshire as a House Servant in the household of Thomas Whitehouse.[3]
Sarah married James Thompson on 16 Mar 1856 at Frankton, Warwickshire.[4] They had six known children: Jane Ann Thompson (b. 1856), George William Thompson (b. 1858), Charles Thompson (b. 1860), Thomas Thompson (b. 1863), Elizabeth Thompson (b. 1866), Henry Thompson (b. 1869).
In the 1861 census, Sarah was age 27 living at Wolverton, Warwickshire with her husband James Thompson (24), daughter Jane Ann Thompson (4), sons George W Thompson (3), Charles Thompson (0).[5]
In the 1871 census, Sarah was age 36 living at Wolverton, Warwickshire with her husband James Thompson (34), daughter Elizabeth Thompson (5), sons George W Thompson (13), Charles Thompson (10), Thomas Thompson (8), Henry Thomson (2).[6]
In the 1881 census, Sarah was age 45 living at Wolverton, Warwickshire with her husband James Thompson (44), son Henry Thomson (12).[7]
In the 1891 census, Sarah was age 55 living at Wolverton, Warwickshire with her husband James Thompson (54).[8]
In the 1901 census, Sarah was age 67 living at Wolverton, Warwickshire with her husband James Thompson (65).[9]
In the 1911 census, Sarah was age 75 living at Wolverton, Warwickshire with her husband James Thompson (74).[10]
Sarah died in 1916 age 82 at Stratford On Avon district.[11]
