Veteran of the American Revolution. He was a Private, serving three times in the regiments of Col.John Brewer, Col.Gideon Burt, and Col.David Wells. He later received his commission from John Hancock on July 7,1789 and served as Captain of the Militia.
He married Thankful Hawks at Springfield, MA on Sep 19,1771. Their children were:
