Frances (Hodson) Hutchings was born in Yorkshire, England.

Frances Hodson was born on 21 Nov 1820, and baptised on 11 Jan 1821 at Christ Church, Harrogate, Yorkshire, England. She was the daughter of Charles Philip Hodson and Elizabeth Hodson.^[1]

Frances Hodson, daughter of Charles Philip Hodson, married Robert Sparke Hutchings in July 1845 in St Martin, Exminster, Devon.^[2][3]

In the 1861 England census, Francis Hutching (age 40, born Harrogate) and Robert Sparke Hutching (40) were living in Whitchurch Canonicorum, Dorset, England, with children Charles Robert (14), Arthur Carey (10), Henry Burdon (6) and Francis Mary (2), and with nephew Charles Frederic Hovendon Hutching (12).^[4]

Frances Hutchings, age 75, died in 1896 in Wiltshire, England.^[5]
