Memories

  • I lived with my grandmother during the summer of 1979 and made a giant Bugs Bunny using Gramma's 1948 Singer Featherweight machine. My daughter is now an excellent seamstress, and I had the privilege of giving her my grandmother's 1948 sewing machine in 2019. My granddaughter now sews on my grandmother's featherweight. ~Cari Starosta[2]
  • Gramma shared a story of her mother teaching her to embroider when she was about 3 years old. I have the Doilie that she made and I believe she got her picture in the newspaper.[12] ~Cari Starosta
