Mary was mentioned in her father's Will (via her married name Daniels), which was dated 20 October 1718 in Scituate and proved 10 November 1719 in Plymouth. Her mother Mary was also listed as well as siblings Persis Farrow, Elizabeth Winslow, Mary Daniels, Samuel Holbrook, and his granddaughter, Bethiah Winslow. His grandsons, Nathaniel Winslow, David Daniels, & John Farrow, were also mentioned. His inventory was taken on 13 November 1719. He was a slaveholder and bequeathed his enslaved black woman named Durance to his wife Mary Hoolbrok, and his inventory included an unnamed enslaved black man, and "one apprentice boy's time". His daughter Mary Daniels was bequeathed thirty pounds.

Mary passed away in March of 1759 in Mendon, Worcester, Massachusetts. She is buried there at the Pine Hill Cemetery.[4]
Research Notes
For now I removed the 'Worcester County, Massachusetts, Slave Owners' category as her father's will transfers his slave(s) to his wife Mary (named Mary Holbrook in the Will). Mary Holbrook of this profile, his daughter, was referenced in his Will by her married name Mary Daniels. There is no clear evidence within the document that she herself was given any rights of ownership of enslaved individuals. If any evidence does so exist, please do present it so we can make appropriate changes to further improve this profile and make it more accurate. Quesnell-14 21:09, 26 November 2023 (UTC)

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Mary by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Mary:
I haven't read the will, but according to Mary's bio, the information of her father's will states that he "bequeathed his enslaved black woman named Durance to his wife Mary, and his inventory included an unnamed enslaved black man, and "one apprentice boy's time". Not his daughter Mary, this profile. If so, please correct the bio and remove the slaveholder cat. Thank you, cousin Cheri.
Thanks for the heads up Cheri, I made the appropriate changes based on the evidence presented in the biography as well as the listed sources, I can see how it would be easy to confuse the mother and daughter the way the bio was written, so I tried to further clarify it. Please let me know if there is anything else you see that may be improved.
