1718 Will of father, Samuel Holbrook Sr.: I give and bequeath to my daughter Persis Farrow the sum of twenty pounds in money or lawful bills of credit on this proving to be paid her by my executor hereafter named within one year after my decease, and also one third part of my household goods, and moveable estate within doors (viz) of what shall remain thereof after my dear wife's decease, and to be delivered to her imediately after my dear wife's decease." [3] NOTE: Also mentioned in Samuel's will was his grandson, John Farrow, age 9, to whom he left his cat, Cash.
1719 Son John Farrow IV died in February of 1919. In September 1719, Persis gave birth to another son, also named John, who died in February of 1720..
1758 Death of Persis (Holbrook) Farrow, age 81, on May 12, 1758, in Windham Hill, Cumberland County, Province of Massachusetts Bay. She was buried in Old Smith Burying Ground there.
