• Bounty Land Application 288507. Mary Roberts. Carroll County, Arkansas. 2 January 1857. Mary says that she is 71 years old. (Note that the 1850 census suggests that she would have been a few years older.) She states that she is the widow of William Roberts and describes his service. She furthermore states that they married in 1800 in South Carolina and that her surname before marriage was Holder. Mary made further statements on 17 February 1860.
