Biography

My name is Zoiya Holland-Tate. I am of Russian descent on my mother's side and recently through DNA we learned my mother is also German and Irish. On my fathers's side I am English (which is 27% percent of my make up) Ashkenazi Jewish, Spanish, Irish and a little German/Prussian. I have been researching my family tree almost daily for over 4 years. I have learned a lot in that short time and consider myself to be on the intermediate level and working towards expert, though the DNA is a newer frontier for me.

My Bloodlines:

  • My Paternal Grandfather was a Holland, his bloodlines also include: Bausbach (paternal) & Haase, Hermann (maternal). This line also has many Y-DNA to Anglin and Allen autsomal matches to Cohen, Smith, Miller, Levin and Walker.
  • My paternal Grandmother was a Myers, her major blood lines include: Sprague, Green(e), Kidder, Hutchins, Cutler, Lynde, Jessop, Ballard, Wheeler, Bowman, Pease, (maternal) & Eaton, Cullers/Kuller, Burner, Packer, Plumber, (paternal)

-My paternal Grandmother's side are mostly Colonial and Mayflower families.

  • My maternal Grandfather was a Metchnikoff (Mechikoff/Metchikoff), his bloodlines include: Klubniken, Ztadorkin, Novikoff
  • My maternal Grandmother was a Pavloff (Pavlov,Pabloff), her lines include: Klubniken, Bukroff(Bucaroff/Buckroff), Novikoff(maternal).
Her Paternal lines remain a mystery as of now due to her father having an assumed identity.

-This side contains Russian Molokan immigrants who came to the United States between 1904-1908. My Grandmother's side settled in the Guadalupe Valley, Baja Calif, Mex

Hi again,

I sent you a message a couple of weeks ago on behalf of the Germany Project and have not yet heard back from you. I hope you are well!

If I don’t hear back from you by the end of April, I will assume you no longer wish to be a member of the Germany Project and I’ll go ahead and remove you from our member roster. You are, of course, welcome to rejoin at any time via our G2G sign-up post.

Best wishes,

Hello, Zoiya,

It has been a couple of weeks since we contacted you about your participation in the Military and War Project and we are following up to make sure you wish to remain a member.

We understand that interests shift as we grow our shared tree and that some members may have moved on to projects more pertinent to the branches they are currently building. If this is the case for you, please let us know.

If we do not hear back from you within the week, we will assume you have moved on to other things for the moment and remove you from the project. Please know that you will always be welcome to rejoin should your interests shift back in this direction.
