Agnes was born about 1734 in Louisa, Va. Agnes was the daughter of Charles Halladay and his wife Hannah (Head) Holloway. [1] Charles died by Jan. 17, 1803, in KY. In his will, witnessed by John Graves, he did not name his children. He mentioned his brother George Holloway in Virginia. In Spotsylvania Co., VA, William Holloday/Holloway left a will dated 4 May 1746, and mentioned his sons Charles and George, along with other children. Also in Spotsylvania Co., VA, John Graves, Jr., left a will dated 2 June 1747. Witnesses to that will were Joseph and Benjamin Hollowday.
Marriage
Agnes married David Graves born about 1730 in Louisa Co. (or Spotsylvania Co.), VA, and died in Jan. (or Feb.) 1808 in Shelby Co., KY. She outlived David. By the time of the settlement of his estate, they had two sons and four daughters.
