Biography

Neale Edgar Holmes was born 21 February 1923 at Allora, Queensland, Australia. He was the son of Edgar Holmes and Ethel Neale.

Neale Edgar Holmes enlisted on 15 May 1941 and served with the RAAF during World War Two. Neale achieved the rank of Sergeant and was discharged from duty 15 October 1945. ^[1][2]

On 15 July 1945, the engagement of Neale to Betty J. Newell was announced.
