Biography
Ellen was born in 1889. Ellen Holmes. She married William Straw in Basford, Nottinghamshire, England in 1912 and the young couple set sail on the S.S. Victorian out of Liverpool in Jun of 1913, landing in Quebec, Canada en route to Paris, Ontario, Canada to join Ellen's sisters and start a new life in a new world. Ellen passed away in 1983 in the city of London, Ontario, Canada. [1]
