Biography
David Franklin Holt was born on December 23, 1865, in Giles County, Tennessee.[1] He was the son of Francis Holt and Harriett Woodard.
He married Fannie Caroline Wilson (1869-1946) on December 25, 1887 in Nevada County, Arkansas.[2] They had 8 children.

- Noel Thurman Holt (1895-1977)
- Addie (Holt) spicher (1897-1979)
- Benjamin Holt (1899-1979)
- Charles Holt (ca 1900-ca 1910)
- Mary Lonnie Holt (1901-1981)
- Ernestine "Tommie" Holt (1908-1942)
They made their home in Jeter, Chactaw County, Oklahoma in 1910, where David was a farmer, and she was taking care of the home and children, Gattee-18, Roy-15, Nora-13, Addie-12, Ben-10, Lonnie-8, and Tommie E-1.[3]
David Holt passed away on January 21, 1941, at the age of 75, in Hugo, Choctaw County, Oklahoma, and was buried in the Springs Chapel Cemetery.[1]
