Biography

Russell King Homer was born on 17 June 1919 in Smithfield, Cache, Utah, United States, son of Russell King Homer (1882–1959) and Minnie Sorensen (1884–1977).[1]

Research Notes

Even though Russ quit school to help with household expenses when his Dad left, he was a very intelligent man. He was a machinist. He was awarded a government contract to work on something so special at Wake Island that only a few people could do the job in the USA. After that he worked for American Helicopter in Torrance, CA. He loved to shoot and had a gun collection which he gave me when his health started to fail with MS. He was tall and good looking and I loved being his date.
