John was born about 1824. He was the son of Francis Hoover and Margaret Harman. He was recorded as householder on C 9, Lot 13 of Tecumseth Twp. in the 1872 Gazetteer of Simcoe Co. John passed away about 1891.
John possibly married a first cousin, Sarah Harman. Henry & Esther Harman were Grandparents to both of them. Their children would have gotten a double dose of Harman DNA. But at this time we do not know for sure who her parents were.
