Biography
Violet Catherine Adele Hope is the daughter of Adrian Elias Hope.
She married, firstly, Herbert Frederick Guinness, son of Richard Seymour Guinness and Elizabeth Jane Susanna Darley, in 1904.
She married, secondly, Captain Herbert Reginald Norbury, son of Inspr.-Gen. Sir Frederick Norbury, in 1924. She was Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.) She was Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.).3 FRCS). She graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.).
She was Captain Herbert Reginald Norbury. From 1904, her married name became Guinness. From 1924, her married name became Norbury. She was Royal Navy (d ) on 15 March 1967.
