Biography

Salathiel was born in 1841. He was the son of Samuel Joe Horton and Emeline Zola Edgeworth.
Sergeant Salathiel Horton served in the United States Civil War.
Enlisted: April 13, 1861
Mustered out: June 11, 1865
Side: CSA

Salathiel served in the 8th Regiment of the South Carolina Infantry, Confederate States Army.

Salathiel married Clarinda Baker on 28 Nov 1867, and they had eight children.[1]
