Titus Hosmer was born in 1736 in Hartford, Connecticut. His parents were Stephen Hosmer and Deliverance Graves. He graduated Yale in 1757. He married Lydia Lord on November 30, 1761 Together they had 7 children:
He died on August 04, 1780 in Middletown, Connecticut, United States.
He was a member of Continental Congress 1775-1780; He signed the Articles of Confederation. Justice of the Peace, Member of Council of Safety, Committee Member; delegate to Continental Congress, speaker and clerk of the House of Representatives, delegate to and assistant, General Assembly. He took the Oath of Fidelity 1777. [1]
