Biography

Asa Howe was born in Middleton, Mass., 26 Nov. 1756; he mamed Elizabeth Fuller, daughter of Timothy and Sarah (Smith) Fuller, born in Middleton, 24 Aug. 1756, and died 11 Nov. 1791, aged 35 years. He married second, 12 Dec. 1793, Hepsibah Peabody, daughter of Col. Benjamin and Hannah (Black) Peabody, born in Middleton, 6 July 1766; died 18 Jan. 1836. In 1795 he was appointed guardian of his children by his first wife, Asa, Betsey and Abijah. He died 13 Feb. 1826.[1]
