Research Notes
On the 1870, Rome, Wisconsin census, page 44B, we can see the 4th family down, James & Mary Craney; their son, Franklin (Frank) will be married to Adelaide, the daughter of Jane (Howe) Harrison. In the bottom family, we can see Oliver Ranck married to Adalinda, also Jane's daughter and twin to Adelaide. Between the Harrison and Ranck family, we can see Jane's parents, Marshall and Charlotte Howe.
