Biography

On 08 Apr 1901 Clifford Riley Hubbard was born in Hubbell, Nebraska to Russell Harvey Hubbard and Hattie Hubbard

In 1910 his parents and siblings were reported to own a general farm in Hill, Walla Walla County, Washington.

In 1920, he continued to live with his parents and had a job delivering Lumber.

On 26 Nov 1924 he married Stella Edwards in Farrington, Whitman County, Washington Clifford was 23 and Stella was 14, but the marriage certificate reports her to be 16 years of age. They were married at the Colfax Courthouse by the Justice of the Peace. Witnessed by Kathryn Hubbard and Arley Edwards

His son Charlie Samuel was born on May 30, 1925, in Washington.

His daughter Meldia Marie was born on September 6, 1926, in Washington.

His daughter Betty May was born on November 1, 1929, in Kennewick, Washington.

In 1930 he lived in Longview, Cowlitz County, Washington. He owned his home with a value of $500, and worked as a Laborer in a Lumbermill, working for wages.

Clifford Riley's father Russell Harvey Hubbard passed away on January 1, 1935, in Kennewick, Washington, at the age of 78.

Clifford Riley's mother Hattie Almina passed away on May 19, 1940, in Kennewick, Washington, at the age of 76.

In 1940 he and his family lived in Kennewick, Washington where he rented his home for $8/mo on Nutmeg Street. He worked 60 hours/week as an Iron Worker in the Iron Works industry for an income of $750/year.

05 Sep 1951 Clifford died in Prosser, Washington There are two different death records. One says he died in Kennewick, the other Prosser. He was buried in the Riverview Heights Cemetery in Kennewick, Washington.
