Biography

Mary Hudson

Birth 1726 Hanover, Louisa, Virginia, also Henrico, Virginia
Birth ABT 1724 Anna River, St Paul's Parish, Hanover, Virginia
Mary Hudson passed away in 31 Jan 1792 as record in the Quaker Cedar Creek Monthly Meeting Vol VI[1]

The belief that Mary Hudson-Bunch passed away 31 Jan 1792 is in error. The Quaker record is actually for her sister-in-law, Mary Stanley-Bunch, the wife of Samuel's brother, James Bunch.

Mary Hudson-Bunch can be found in Louisa County, Virginia tax records following her husband's death until 1800. She is living in the same district on the same property. The links for these documents are below. The first record shows "Mary Bunch (Wd Sam)." Subsequent tax records illustrate the transfer of acreage annotated in Samuel's will to his sons.
