Mathias Wiseman HUFF, middle name unverified (21 Aug 1845 KY - 19 Jan 1929 Lee, Butler County, Kentucky, bur Huff Cem, Lee, Butler Co, KY. Note: There is no recognized Huff Cemetery in Butler County, and those referred to in this Biography as having been buried in the Huff Cemetery are not to be found in Find a Grave. In the case of Mathias, his death record indicated him to have been buried in the Home cemetery,^[1] and others similarly indicated as buried in the Huff Cemetery may have been laid to rest on the home property as well.^[2]

Mathias Huff married (1) Parizetta JONES (1 Aug 1847 KY - ) on 9 Oct 1866 in Butler County, Kentucky.^[3] Parizetta was how her name was spelled on the marriage record. Various other spellings on records have included Parisetta, Parasetta, Parzetty, etc.
