Note NI310The following is the deed from Ambrose Huffman to Son Henry, Sept. 6, 1836:
This Indenture made and ordered into between Ambrose Huffman of Barren County and the State of Kentucky of the one part and Henry Huffman of same County and State of the other part---------
that said Ambrose Huffman for and in consideration of the sum of two dollars lawfull money in hand paid the receipt of whichis hereby acknowledged have bargained & sold by their presents doth bargain and sell unto the aforsaid Henry Huffman one certain parcel or track of land situated on the waters of Nobob Creek supposed to contain one road fourteen poles and eighty eight hundredth to be the same on leps and bounded as follows-------beginning at a rock thence North 32 degrees West 11 poles to a cycamore on the bank of said creek thence South 62 degrees East 15 poles to a rock thence South 72 West 8 poles to the beginning appurtences to have and to hold the foresaid track or parcel of land as described unto said Henry Huffman his heirs and ---------forever and the said Ambrose Huffman for himself and his heirs do by their presents conveyant and agree to warrant and forever defend unto the said Henry Huffman & his heirs the aforesaid track or parcel of land with all the appurtances thereunto belonging against the claims of all and every person or persons whomever.
