This Philip Huyett (Huiet, Hewitt), Revolutionary War soldier who died in OH, is not the son of Jacob, Sr. and Anna Gegin Huyett. This error likely comes from Find A Grave. Jacob and Anna did have a son, Philip (Huyett-178), but he was married to Magdalena Kolhs and lived in PA. His Probate states that the Administrators are his Widow Magdalena, and his brother-in-law, George Focht. George Focht is the husband of Catherine, Jacob and Anna’s only daughter.
