Biography

Hannah Humble was born circa 1788, in Bourbon County, Kentucky, the daughter of Noah Humble and Catherine (Caine) Humble. ^[1]

On August 21, 1809, in Bourbon County, Kentucky, Hannah married William Bean. Hannah and William made their home in Harrison County, Kentucky, where they became parents of quite a large family.

On the 1850 Census, Hannah is listed as head of household, and William is apparently no longer living. With her are four adult male sons, and her seventeen year old daughter. In addition, her son-in-law and her grandchildren by her daughter Nancy (Bean) Humble are living with her, but her daughter is not, presumably deceased as well. ^[2]
