Noah Humble, the husband of Catherine Cain was probably the son of Conrad and Hannah (Johnston) Humble who came to Kentucky and settled in Mercer County near the Cains east of Harrodsburg.
James Cain had moved his family to Bourbon County before Catherine and Noah married. However, after their marriage, Catherine and Noah evidently made their home in Mercer County.
When James Cain and his other daughters and their families moved into Ohio, Catherine and Noah stayed in Kentucky. [1]
