Biography

Eurah was born on January 1st 1739 in Montgomery,Philadelphia,Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of Thomas Humphrey and Hannah Yarbrough. [1]

At the age of 21, she married Thomas Drake Sr (1728-1811) in Chester Co., Pennsylvania on October 14, 1760 (Pennsylvania Marriages). [2]

After their marriage, Eurah and her husband lived in early Bucks Co., PA, after their marriage, Chester Co., PA by 1769, and Bloomfield, Loudoun Co., Virginia, by 1769. Here in Loudoun County, she and her husband raised their children to adulthood.
