JOSEPH E. R. HUNSAKER
Joseph E.R. Hunsaker was born January 13, 1843 and died July 9, 1927 at the age of eighty-four years, five months and twenty-seven days.
He was born in Knox County, Missouri and was united in marriage to Miss Catherine M. Wells who died June 30, 1925.
To this union were born four children, two sons and two daughters, Mrs. Rebecca Higgenbotham of Elmer, Missouri, Mrs. J.L. Simmons of La Plata, Missouri, J.M. and E.L. Hunsaker of Elmer. He also leaves to mourn his loss, eleven grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
At the age of nineteen years he united with the Christian Church and had always lived a devoted christian life. He was a friend to all who know him. He bore his terrible suffering with a great patience. He always prayed to meet his Savior.
In the presence of a large concourse of sorrowing relatives and friends, funeral services were held at the new Bell Funeral Home by Rev. Morrow of Ethel, Missouri. Interment was made in Bell Cemetery.
