Jonathan Hunt was christened on 4 Jun 1637 in Cossington, Leicestershire, England to Thomas and Mary (Webster) Hunt[1][2][3] Jonathan arrived in 1658 with his sister Mary, presumably after their parents died.[4] In 1660, Jonathan moved from Connecticut to Northampton, Hampshire, Massachusetts.[5]

On 16 Feb, 1678, Jonathan took the Oath of Allegience[10] and on 19 May 1680, Jonathan took the Freeman’s Oath.[11][12] Jonathan served as a deacon beginning in 1681 and was a representative beginning in 1690.
Deacon Jonathan Hunt died 30 September 1691 in Northampton, Hampshire, Massachusetts,[28] he was buried at The Old Burying Ground, also known as, Bridge Street Cemetery, Northampton, Massachusetts Decon Jonathan Hunt aged 54 years he dyed Sept 29: 1691.
