Biography

Gerald Aubrey Hunt was born in Vom, Jos Plateau, Nigeria October 16, 1929. He was the son Rev. Aubrey Hunt and Enid Elizabeth Newcombe missionaries for the Sudan Interior Mission who were married in Nigeria (date to follow).

He spent the first six years of his life as the only white child before reaching school age. In those days, children of missionary children were housed in the Gowan's Home Collingwood, Ontario, while his parent's continued to serve in Africa.

At age 12, his father contracted yellow fever and he returned to Canada reuniting the family in the Toronto area.

He attended MacMaster University to obtain his BA and BD and went into Baptist ministry, first in French in Quebec City and Montreal, then moved to English minstry in St, Hilaire,QC, Brownsburg, QC, Arnprior, ON, Sudbury, ON and Whitby, ON

During his ministry, he did a lot of interesting things including corresponding with Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in support of the Voting Rights Act of 1965 and received a two page signed response, a rarity from him in return.

He pioneered a number of ventures including support groups and extended the ministerials in which he served to have public images to show solidarity including a jogging club.

While in Whitby, he was called to Institutional Chaplaincy at age 55 and served in Toronto for 10 years visiting prisons and hospitals and training newer chaplains. He finished his career as visiting pastor at Yorkminster Baptist Church.

He retired to Wasaga Beach where he lived two decades and then his last three months in Gatineau, QC

The longest segment has minor depreciation to 20.4 cm to Lloyd for a total of 27 cm.

The other segment is on chromosome 2 from 23929979 to 31082274 from rs17045819 to rs929910 7 cm 3712 and through inverse triangulation is determined to related to Beall through Magruder on her side and Jackson on our side and will be commented elsewhere on the line with her match to others not related up the Pigott-Rogers line.

3. Greg Bryan-Martin (Gedmatch T071782) is predicted MIRC of 4.7 based on chromosome 10 from 98,953,049 to 119,477,694 on 22.0 cm, 5,254 SNPs. In Lloyd, the depreciation is slight to 21.5 cm and 5,203 SNPs and not significant to alter the MIRC. In fact, he is Gerald's fifth cousin and Lloyds fifth cousin once removed.
