Biography

Judith Huntington, daughter of Deacon Christopher Huntington, and Mrs. Judith (Stevens)--Brewster--Huntington of Norwich, Connecticut, born 10 September 1707. She married first, 10 November 1725, Mr. Samuel Leffingwell; married second, after 1742, Daniel Morse.

Samuel Leffingwell and Judith Huntington (recorded as Samuell Leffingwell and Judeth Huntington) were married at Norwich, Connecticut, on 10 November 1725. Children, born at Norwich, included:[1]

  1. Hannah Leffingwell ye Daughter of Samuell & Judeth was Born ye 22d Day of Septr 1726.
  2. Judeth Leffingwell Daughter of Samll & Judeth his wife was Born the 28th Day of January 1728/9.
  3. Joanna Leffingwell, born ye 25st day of febr 1730/31.
  4. Samuel (recorded as Samll) Leffingwell son of Samll & his wife Judeth born ye 22 of May 1732
  5. Cyrus: Son of Samll Leffingwell and of Judeth his wife, born Sept. ye 12th: 1734.

In 1757, she is mentioned in her son Cyrus' will.[2]

In 1758, she is mentioned in her son, Samuel's will.[3]
