Biography

John Huntington, born in Amesbury on the Sabbath the last week in Aug. 1643; married Dec. 23, 1665, Elizabeth Hunt; married second about 1686, Elizabeth Blaisdel. He died about 1729. (p. 17)

Elisabeth b. March 14, 1701-2; probably d. young, not mentioned in the will 1734.

Thomas b. 4 Jan. 1703-4; m. Ruth Barnard Jan. 20, 1725-6; d. 1743 or very early in 1744.

Micah, Lieut. b. Jan. 18, 1704; m. Susanna ___; d. early in 1769. Will dated Dec. 24, 1768, proved Feb. 22, 1769. Wid. Susanna d. Sept. 12, 1790. (Note: Susanna Colby CH)

Daniel b. Jan. 23, 1707; not mentioned in the will 1734.

David b. Oct. 27, 1709; m. Mary Quinby; d. 1795-8. Will dated Nov., 1794, proved Dec. 4, 1798.

Note: Thomas and Micah were possibly twins but they were not recorded together.

Note: Tradition says that one of the brothers probably either David or Daniel was killed when a boy near their residence at Pond Hills by Indians.[2]
