Chadsey was a shopkeeper who lived in Centreville, tending to his store up almost til the day he died.

Birth Date Issue

There is an issue of the date of Chadsey's birth, given that his brother Edwin was born and died in November of 1876, and Chadsey's date of birth on the death registry clearly readable as February 1877.
