Ebenezer was the son of Daniel and Rachel (Smith) Hurd. [1]

He married Hannah Allen - parents of Allen, Ebenezer II, Hannah, Daniel, Asa who married Sarah Pray, Rachel and Abigail Hurd (all of the children were born in New York).
