Abstract of the Will of Christopher Hussey, Jr, Green County, Ohio, Probate Court Records, Book C & D, pg 60:
Dated January the eighth day, 1812. Weak in body; 1) pay all just debts; 2) to my beloved wife Mary Hussey my whole movable estate except dowries to be mentioned; 3) to my daughters Anne Canaday, Elizabeth Stewart, Mary Matthews and Rebecca Mickle their stock and property already received; 4) to my son Elijah Hussey all land and property he has received of me and 150 acres whereon he now lives; 5) to my son Nathan Hussey all property he has received of me & 150 acres whereon he now lives; 6) empower executors to take deeds to all land I have sold - 100 acres to Walter Canaday whereon John Peel now lives and 100 acres to John Mickle whereon he now lives; 7) to my daughter Jane the young gray mare that is called hers, side saddle now at the sadlers, her bed and clothing, the cow called hers; 8) my wife to be sole heir to all property and affects after legacies and debts paid
to give as she sees fit to the four youngest children - Christopher Hussey, Jacob Hussey, Sarah Hussey & Sophia Hussey; 9) all land to be in full possession of my wife till the youngest son is of age, and then, if no more land is bought, the home plantation divided between the 2 youngest sons as my wife sees fit; 10) my wife is to have a decent living during her life off the improved land; 11) executors to send $75 for Robert Stewart in Virginia which is to be paid back into the estate by Robert Stewart when my executors and widow shall see fit; 12) executors to care for estate and affairs to see that nothing is unprofitably lost or spent.
