Hi, Alycia, and thanks for your interest in improving this profile. Abigail's current last name should be, I think, the name of whoever was the last husband she married.
I took this profile over when I found it orphaned, so I haven't yet looked at the evidence for her marriage to Anthony Ashby after John Lambert's death. Checking now at Ancestry, I find that there's a reference in U.S., New England Marriages Prior to 1700 to a marriage between an Anthony Ashby and an Abigail with a maiden name of Hutchinson, which seems to have taken place after John Lambert's death.
I'm not tied to this fact, though, so you're welcome to double check whether the Abigail married to Anthony Ashby is really the same as the one married to John Lambert and let me know what you find.
Hi Lynn, Abigail married John Lambert, who died fairly young (5 years into the marriage). Should her "current last name" remain as Ashby or should it be changed to Lambert? Not sure if an edit is needed. Thanks! Alycia
