Biography

Louise (Ichs) Heimbuck was a Volga German.

Louise (Ichs) Heimbuck has German Roots.

Louise Ichs was born on 28 May 1878 in Grimm, Volga, Russia.^[1] She was the daughter of Christian Ichs and Louisa [nee Unknown].

She married Henry Schuppe in 1899 in Grimm and they had at least six recorded children in Russia.

Her husband Henry came to America with several other married Grimm villagers scoping for jobs. Louise came with the children the following year to where Henry was working in Waterloo, Iowa.

The family settled in Sterling, Colorado and Henry is found as a beet field worker by 1920. He died six years later.

Louise Schuppe remarried to Mr. Heimbuck and they lived in Crook, Colorado.

Louise Heimbuck passed away in 1956 at the Sterling hospital due to an illness.
