Mary 'Idols' was baptised on 17 Aug 1729 at Sopworth, Wiltshire, daughter of William.[1]
Mary 'Iddolls' of Sopworth married Nathaniel Thompson of Sherston on 16 Sep 1750 at Sopworth, Wiltshire.[2]
Children of Nathaniel and Mary Thompson baptised at Sherston, Wiltshire:[3]

- Mary Thompson (baptised 15 Oct 1754)
- Betty Thompson (baptised 20 Mar 1758)

- Elizabeth Thompson (baptised 11 Oct 1763)
In the will of her father William Iddols, the will made on 02 Apr 1758 and proved on 02 Jun 1768, the Testator bequeathed £10 to his daughter Mary, wife of Nathaniel Tompson.[4]
Mary was also recorded as Mary Thompson in the will of her brother William Iddols, the will made on 23 Dec 1790 and proved on 13 Dec 1808.[5]
Her death was therefore after 1790 with the burial of a Mary Thompson on 16 Jan 1808 at Sherston the most likely.[6]
