Lafayette Isaiah Clough was born on January 29, 1858 in Summit, Wisconsin, United States, son of Robert Fulton Clough (1838–1859) and Lydia Louise Ingalls (1838–1913).
In 1860, Lafayett (2) was in the household of Lansford Ingles. [1]
Lafayette (18) married Hattie Almida Bard (19) (born on December 27, 1856 in Easton, Ionia, Michigan, USA; daughter of Ephraim Alonzo Bard and Mariette (Card) Bard) on June 11, 1876 in Alden, Polk, Wisconsin.[2] Their children were:
Lafayette died on February 4, 1893 in Rock Elm, Pierce, Wisconsin, aged 35. He was buried in Plum City Union Cemetery.[3]
