"Indianian-Republican," Thursday, Dec. 8, 1887; Vol. 32, page 1, bottom of column 2: DIED: Herin - In East Warsaw, on Nov. 29th, Sarah Jane Herin, in the 27th year of her age. The deceased leaves a husband and three children to mourn her early demise, but they mourn not as those who have no hope. As Mrs. Herin was nearing her last hour she sang "Safe in the Arms of Jesus," and surrounded by kind friends and neighbors she passed to her eternal home. Mrs. Herin was a daughter of Richard Ireland, of this city, and was born in Noble county, Ohio, Nov. 19th, 1861. The mourning relatives have the kindliest sympathy of many friends. A.E.E.
