Someone asked US Southern Colonies to protect this profile. It was already PPP'ed and the project template placed, but the project account not added as co-manager; that is now completed. Thanks for bringing this to our attention, and let us know how the project can otherwise help strengthen this profile! -- Jillaine, co-leader

the only child I'm confident of is Mary who married Thomas Booth. From Douglas Richardson's Magna Carta Ancestry - "Thomas Booth...married Mary Cooke, daughter of Mordecai Cooke, Gent.,...by Frances, daughter of William Ironmonger."

From Mordecai's profile: "...Mordecai and Frances Ironmonger Cooke were the parents of the following known children: Giles Cooke, Susannah Cooke, Mordecai Cooke, John Cooke, Mary Cooke, Elizabeth Cooke and Frances Cooke." (citing Find a Grave)

Stubbs lists 5 children (Mordecai, John, Frances, Mary, & Susannah).

There are references to several Thomas Cookes, but nothing that indicates Frances & Mordecai had a son named Thomas (the latest profile to be attached as a child).

Are any of you able to access: Descendants of Mordecai Cooke : of "Mordecai's Mount", Gloucester Co., Va., 1650, and Thomas Booth, of Ware Neck, Gloucester Co., Va., 1685 / by Dr. and Mrs. William Carter Stubbs.  ??

update: merge completed

Ironmonger-1 and Ironmonger-87 appear to represent the same person because: Ironmonger-87 had been attached to the wrong family and given an incorrect birth year. Those errors have been corrected & she can now be merged with Ironmonger-1. Thanks!
