Services for Mrs Shermer To Be Held Tomorrow

Funeral services for Mrs Catherine Shermer are to be held tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock at the Ross chapel. Burial will be in the local cemetery. Mrs Shermer passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs Ed Peterson, in Chatanika. She was 83 years old.

To mourn her passing she leaves four sons and a daughter. Wiley and Harvey of Chehalis, Washington, Jasper, now near Tanana, Ernest L of Fairbanks and Lulu of Chatanika. She survived her husband by seven years.

Mrs Shermer had been a residet of the Fairbanks district since 1910. Most of the time she lived on the creeks. The family was in Altin in 1904 and the six intervening years vefore arrival at Fairbanks were spent in the Fourtymile country and at Tanana.
