Mary's "walk the bride dress" was given to the Maine Historical Society in Portland, for proper preservation. In that era brides weren't supposed to that fancy. They would put together a special outfit to wear on the day after their wedding, her first walk out with her husband. Mary's friendship quilt is with the Bethel (Maine) Historical Society
